Physical Therapy etc. was started in 1981. With over thirty years of experience, we are dedicated to best practices and embracing new technology.
Independently owned and operated by physical and occupational therapists, our mission is to provide rehabilitation and education for individuals of all ages to achieve and maintain their highest level of wellness. Physical Therapy etc. has grown to be a community leader without losing sight of its focus of one-on-one patient care.
Premier Hand Therapy Center operates alongside Physical Therapy etc. It is staffed by Certified Hand Therapists who meet the needs of patients who have experienced trauma or injury to the hand. The staff of Premier Hand Therapy Center has undergone extensive training in their area of study.
We are conveniently located at 142 Franklin Farm Lane in Chambersburg, PA. From I-81, take Exit 16 to Lincoln Way East (Route 30) and you’ll find us behind Sheetz.
Our facility was built in 2013 with the rehabilitative needs of our patients in mind. Our handicapped accessible building features private treatment rooms and a spacious treatment gym, each with carefully chosen equipment to meet the needs of our patients.
We work to provide flexible appointment hours to meet your needs, including availability before and after school or work. Physical Therapy etc. is a member of the Physical Therapy Provider Network (PTPN).

We participate with most types of insurance, including worker’s compensation. If in doubt about your coverage, call your insurance carrier or our office at 717.263.5147 to confirm. Medicare is accepted. Cash-based services and wellness evaluations can also be provided.
All of the physical therapists in our clinic have applied for and have been credentialed with direct access licenses. This means, you can come for physical therapy services without a prescription or physician order. One note of caution, not all insurances are reimbursing for physical therapy without a prescription, so call your insurance to see if you qualify. A prescription is always required for occupational therapy services and hand therapy.
