John Hostetler, PT
John, along with Bruce Hitchens, is a founding partner of Physical Therapy etc. John has over 36 years of experience treating everything from orthopedic and neuro cases to post-surgical patients. He is a researcher and reads extensively about treatments and products before using them. John is a Direct Access Physical Therapist, which means no prescription is required in order to receive treatment from him. Outside of work, John enjoys biking, hiking, and traveling.
Marsha Quesenberry, PT
Marsha is a partner at Physical Therapy etc. and started the school-based pediatric arm of the company. She continues to supervise the pediatric therapists and treat students. Marsha is a Direct Access Physical Therapist, meaning a prescription is not required to receive treatment. With nearly 30 years under her belt, there is very little Marsha hasn’t done. In her spare time, she serves as a Physical Therapist on mission trips. Each summer, Marsha organizes a week of camp for individuals with special needs to interact with peers from her church’s youth camp.
Meredith Ankerbrand, PT, DPT
Dr. Meredith works primarily in school-based pediatrics. She is a Direct Access Physical Therapist, which means you do not need a physician’s prescription in order to receive treatment from her. In the clinic, Dr. Meredith performs wheelchair evaluations for patients in power chairs, custom manual wheelchairs, and scooters. Most of her time is spent enjoying the challenge and flexibility required to be a pediatric PT. She loves woking with children and adults with disabilities. Dr. Meredith serves on the board of CROSS, an organization that serves people with disabilites. She also volunteers at CROSSroads Camp.
Jan Benedick, MPT
Jan is a 1994 graduate of the Medical College of Virginia. She treats orthopedic, neurological, and pediatric clients. Jan has a keen interest in neuromuscular disorders and is a certified LVST BIG instructor. She serves as the co-chair of the Chambersburg Parkinson’s Support Group. She also has an interest in sports injury prevention and runs clinics for athletes, of all ages, to decrease their risk of injury. Jan is certified in Functional Movement Systems Screening and is a certified speed and agility coach, as well as a youth soccer coach. She is our expert in Dartfish Video Analysis. Jan has Direct Access Licensure, so you do not require a prescription to receive treatment from her.
Annette Garling, PT
Annette is a pediatric Physical Therapist who can make any exercise fun. She works with children of all ages and diagnoses, but has a special place in her heart for preschoolers. In addition to her energetic attitude, Annette is constantly working to better herself and her patients by staying ahead of physical therapy trends.
Devin Day, PT, DPT
Dr. Devin treats clients of all ages in our outpatient clinic setting, including orthopedics and pediatrics. She is a 2015 honors graduate of Lebanon Valley College. Dr. Devin has special interest in sports physical therapy focusing on injury prevention and treating vestibular issues. When she’s not treating patients in the clinic, Dr. Devin enjoys participating in the Relay for Life, spending time with her family, and baking.
Jennifer Wickard, MPT
Jennifer received her Master’s of Science in Physical Therapy from Thomas Jefferson University in 1998. She began working in the outpatient setting seeing clients from birth to elderly. specializing in geriatrics. Love for her own children has brought Jennifer’s interest back to pediatrics. She enjoys seeing children have fun while improving their physical skills as she works in the school setting for PT etc. Her other activities include working on her hobby farm, volunteer teaching art to elementary students, and leading one of the Cumberland County 4H Clubs.
Physical Therapist Assistants
Cindy Rawley, PTA
Cindy is a pediatric Physical Therapist Assistant who works in the pediatric school-based program and the out-patient clinic. With almost 25 years of experience, she is a treasure trove of wisdom and physical therapy knowledge. Cindy helps facilitate a special needs class, is involved in various children’s programs, and is a frequent nursery helper with her church in Greencastle. Outside of work, Cindy enjoys spending time with her husband, family and friends; worshiping God; quilting; outdoor activites; reading and sewing.
Jennifer Schorn, PTA
Jen has over 15 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant. She currently works in pediatrics. Jen is detail-oriented and uses this talent to help with some of the administrative needs of the company.
Miranda Neil, PTA
Miranda is a graduate of Central Pennsylvania College. She works primarily in the clinic with individuals recovering from orthopedic issues but also works with students in the Fannett-Metal School District. Her favorite part of her job is helping patients return to the activities they enjoy.
Sheri Michalsky, PTA
Sheri has been a Physical Therapist Assistant since 1994 and has been a part of the Physical Therapy etc. team since 2007. She loves the staff and patients she works with. Outside of work, Sheri enjoys spending time with her family, quilting, and reading.
Kari Hopple, PTA
Kari Hopple is a Physical Therapist Assistant and a 1991 graduate of Penn State, Mont Alto. She also works as a receptionist at Physical Therapy etc. and thoroughly enjoys interacting with the patients as well as her co-workers. Known for her compassionate spirit and listening ear, Kari is thankful for her quality time spent with family, friends, and her church.
Melinda Ryder, PTA
Melinda graduated from Penn State Mont Alto in 2002. Working in school-based pediatrics, Melinda enjoys treating students from Pre-K to middle school. During her time off, Melinda enjoys spending time with her children and family, watching them play soccer and hiking!
Angie is a graduate of Elizabethtown College and has been a practicing OT since 1994. She specializes in Out-patient and School-based Pediatric therapy. Angie is the OT supervisor and a partner of Physical Therapy etc. She enjoys spending time with her family and friends, travel, and serves on several boards related to youth sports.
Cheryl C. Oyler, OTR/L, CHT
Cheryl is a 1988 graduate of Elizabethtown College with a degree in Occupational Therapy. In addition to her OT degree, she is a Certified Hand Therapist with more than 20 years experience focusing on Upper Extremity Rehabilitation. Cheryl is a member of the American Society of Hand Therapists (ASHT) and American Occupational Therapy Association (AOTA). She is also certified to complete Functional Capacity Evaluations with BTE Functional Testing Certification. She provides Post Offer Employment Testing for several national companies with offices in our local area. Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys Zumba, Yoga, traveling, and going to the beach. She truly enjoys working with all of her clients to improve their function following injury.
Sonda Snyder, OTR/L
Sonnie received her Occupational Therapy degree from Towson State University and has worked in the field since 1986. Now working, primarily, in school-based pediatrics, Sonnie draws from her experience with inpatient acute and rehab hospital care, outpatient hand and neurological injuries, and home health, ranging from geriatric care to early intervention. She enjoys anything crafty, that she is able to incorporate into her school-based treatments. She loves to be involved in the activities of her 3 children and is heavily involved in multiple areas of service in her church.
Jennifer is a 2003 graduate from Elizabethtown College where she earned a degree in Occupational Therapy with a Pediatric Specialty and Art minor. She also holds a Master’s degree in Youth and Family Ministry from Winebrenner Theological Seminary. It is a joy for her to encourage, support, and work with children and their families to reach their therapy goals.
Jennifer cherishes married life, being a Mom, and volunteering time for children and youth ministries with her husband. Her hobbies include art, swimming, and outdoor living.
Occupational Therapists Assistants
Cathy Wilt, COTA
Cathy graduated from Penn State, Mont Alto with a degree as an Occupational Therapy Assistant. In 2016 she continued her education by completing a Bachelors’s of Science degree from Clarion University in Allied Health Management. Cathy has worked with Physical Therapy etc. for 10 years and enjoys her primary role in pediatric school-based OT. She also works in the pediatric out-patient clinc at PT etc. and has assisted in developing new programs as well as facilitating summer groups and co-leading developmental groups throughout the year. When not working, Cathy volunteers in the community within her church youth group, assists in coaching youth soccer, volunteers as a peer suppporter for Parent To Parent of PA, and stays involved in the active lives of her two children.
Sharon Thompson, COTA
Sharon graduated from Penn State Mont Alto in 1994 and is honored to be a part of their Advisory Board for the occupational therapy program. Sharon has worked in school-based OT with Physical Therapy etc. since 2007. Sharon is the organizer of the Handwriting Camp at PT, etc. and enjoys having children and their parents see that not just the hands are involved in handwriting but all of the senses are involved. Sharon is a volunteer with the Autism Fair and also had the opportunity to be at and witness the outpouring of love and support at Project Big Love. Both events are rewarding and enriching experiences. Sharon and her husband are blessed to share their home with his soon to be 95 year old mother, who is a joy and is a vast source of knowledge and wisdom. They also share their home with two cats; a lot of love and laughter comes from those two critters Long car rides into the country are still a source of relaxation as is reading and listening to music.
Tracie Flack, COTA
Tracie is a pediatric certified occupational therapy assistant. She is a graduate of Penn State, Berks Campus. Her favorite part of her job is working with kids. Outside of work, she enjoys exercising, cooking, reading, and spending time with her friends and family.
Rachel Monheim, COTA
Rachel is a graduate of Penn State, Mont Alto. Her favorite part of her job is the individualized attention she can give each child and the relationship she forms with each one. Rachel is surrounded by children the entire day, as she has two of her own. She feels that spending so much time with pre-teens and teenagers is what keeps her young!
Brittany Plasterer, COTA
Brittany is the newest member of the Physical Therapy etc. family. In addition to working in pediatrics for Physical Therapy etc., Brittany works on an “as needed” basis for Laurel Run and Menno Haven. She is a graduate of Penn State, Mont Alto.
Diane Clopper, COTA
Diane is a gifted, experienced Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant who works alongside our Certified Hand Therapist. Her warm smile and welcoming personality helps patients feel right at home. When not working, Diane enjoys the outdoors and spending time with her family.
Lora Wenger, COTA
Lora is a graduate of Penn State Mont Alto and worked in out-patient therapy for three years. She now works in the school-based pediatrics program for Physical Therapy etc. Lora is also a licensed massage therapist with a certification in pediatric massage. She is passionate about working with kids and helping them to be successful overall. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family/friends, and helping with church youth group.
Gina has been a practicing speech language pathologist since 1995. She received her Bachelors of Science Degree in Speech and Hearing from Elmira College and her Masters of Science Degree in Speech-Language Pathology from Syracuse University. Prior to joining PT etc., Gina worked in a wide variety of medical and educational settings. She enjoys working at Physical Therapy etc. because it provides a wide variety of experiences on a daily basis. “I really enjoy the diversity and skill-sets needed to see a two year old child in the morning and then a 92 year old adult in the afternoon!” Gina is very excited to work with the Physical Therapy etc. team to bring more therapeutic programs to the adult population of Franklin County. In addition, she has a particular interest in treating young children with dysphagia and feeding issues. Gina’s husband is also a practicing speech-language pathologist. They have two children who keep them very busy with sports on their days off!
Jean Gross, CMOM, Practice Administrator
Jean is a graduate of Lancaster Bible College and is a Certified Medical Office Manager through the Practice Managment Institute. With more than 25 years of experience in healthcare, nearly 20 of those in medical office management, Jean oversees the daily administrative functions of Physical Therapy etc. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, singing with her church choir, swing dancing, and spending time with her family and friends. Grandchildren are a special joy to her and her husband.
Peggy Louder, Pediatric School-based Program Administrator
Peggy has has been working for Physical Therapy etc. since 2005, and has over twenty-five years of experience in the field. Peggy effectively manages the pediatric OT and PT school-based therapy programs. Her precise nature positions her well to manage the billing, documentation, and technology needs of the pediatric staff. Outside of work, Peggy is active in her church and enjoys singing with the choir and helping with Youth Sunday. Peggy, her husband, and two daughters are very involved in musical activities. Her other interests include reading, singing, cross-stitching, and going to the beach in the summer.
Penny Lehman, Administrative Assistant
Penny has worked with Physical Therapy etc. since 1989 and is grateful for the opportunity to work with such great owners, staff and patients. Her responsibilities include Accounts Payable, Payroll, and Patient Accounts for Workers Comp. and Auto claims. When not at work, Penny and her husband, Eldon, enjoy spending time with family, friends, and their kitty Livvy, as well as church and outdoor activities.
Brenda Dameron, Administrative Assistant
Brenda has been a receptionist for Physical Therapy etc. since 2002. Before that she worked in adult day-care services. She enjoys interacting with patients and learning about physical therapy diagnoses and treatments. Brenda and her husband live in Chambersburg and enjoy spending time with their grandchildren.
Cathy Myers, Administrative Assistant
Cathy has worked at Physical Therapy etc. since she moved to Chambersburg from the scenic Hudson Valley of New York State in 2003, where she worked for Medicare. At Physical Therapy etc., Cathy is a Patient Accounts expert. She finds that listening to classical music relieves the stress of dealing with insurance companies! Lisa uses her many secretarial skills in the Business Office at Physical Therapy etc. She enjoys greeting and talking with patients and making them feel welcome. Outside of work, Lisa enjoys painting and singing, but most of all, spending time with her family.
